I’m thrilled to welcome you to Worth the Wait Ranch! This home holds a special place in my heart and was designed to offer a resort-like experience while being perfectly situated in the heart of Phoenix. Spanning 1.3 fully secured acres, the property features multiple unique spaces and living quarters, each serving a variety of purposes—just like a true ranch. Below, you'll find a property layout and all the information you need to know about WTWR and your upcoming stay.
Welcome to Worth the Wait Ranch, nestled in historic Robinhood Acres!
Originally a working cattle ranch in the early 1900s, this neighborhood has a rich history. The original ranch owner purchased several former Base Officer Quarters from a decommissioned Army base, repurposing them as housing for his ranch hands. This home is one of only two of those buildings still standing. Built in 1917, it was once identical to the small house directly across the street. Over the years, most of Robinhood Acres' original structures were replaced with new builds—except for these two. Despite numerous remodels and additions over the last century, the home’s original exterior walls and truss system have remarkably remained intact.
When I purchased the property in 2018, preserving its history was my top priority. Rather than tearing the home down and resetting the build date—an easier and more cost-effective option—I chose to honor the original structures, building around them to create a space that aligned with my vision while maintaining the essence of Worth the Wait Ranch. Designed as a gathering place to inspire creativity and foster connection, the home reflects this purpose in every detail.
After completing renovations on The Manor, I expanded the property in 2023 with the addition of TeeBox and Unodos at the back of the estate. These guest homes, crafted from retired semi-truck trailers and shipping containers, were my first foray into sustainable living. By utilizing eco-friendly building techniques, I was able to enhance the property’s functionality while reducing environmental impact.
As a designer, my goal has always been to maximize space, spark inspiration, and cultivate meaningful experiences. Worth the Wait Ranch is—and will always be—my most heartfelt effort to bring that vision to life.
Welcome to my magnum opus!

The Pool is heated with a solar system so the temperature is not adjustable but the water temperate is typically 5-10 degrees warmer than a non-heated pool. But there's no heating fee!
There is a landscaping company that also uses the parking lot. They pick up their trucks every morning, and return them in the afternoon, so you may see them coming and going.
Landscapers typically perform lawn care on the entire property on Tuesday mornings around 7:30AM, however this is subject to change. Please contact prior to arrival if this is a concern.
Beyond TeeBox, there are 2 additional casitas. The owner lives in one, and the property manager lives in the other. The owner and property manager are available when they are needed, and to tend to the property, otherwise they give you total privacy. You may see a small white dog running around. This is CoCo, the property manager's dog. She is harmless and very sweet, but also an escape artist. If she gets out and is bothering you, please let us know.
